Rescue Me WV

Rescue Me WV is a non-profit dog rescue formed in 2017 and located in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Our goal is to save unwanted and unloved dogs from horrible fates including euthanasia. This goal requires volunteers and community donations to properly vet and care for these dogs until their forever home is found through our fostering and adopting programs. We advocate for the animal shelters in Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan counties in WV and help those facilities with networking their dogs to find their forever families.

Doe Eyes Rescue

Doe Eyes Animal Sanctuary and Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, located in the Washington DC-Maryland-Virginia area, that is committed to rescuing and rehabilitating any abused, neglected or in need animal. We are a loving furever home to many factory farmed and slaughter bound animals. Along with being a loving temporary home for many domestic animals on their way to finding their purrrfect furever homes.

Paw Animal Rescue

Shady’s Paw Animal Rescue works to improve the lives of cats and the people who care for them in Lake Holiday and the surrounding areas through:
TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) and Colony Management
Fostering and Adoptions
Educating the public on best practices for feline care in the home or colony setting
Supporting the needs of cats in the communities we serve.

Tip Me Frederick

Tip Me Frederick is a non-profit Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) cat resource for Frederick, MD, and surrounding areas. TNRM is a humane alternative for managing and reducing stray, outdoor, or farm cat populations.
Tip Me Frederick derives its name from the process of ear-tipping an outdoor cat. This means that the top 1/8″ of the cat’s left ear has been surgically removed. This is an international symbol that tells people a cat has been altered and received its vaccinations. These cats have a “colony caretaker” who loves them and manages their ongoing daily needs. Tip Me Frederick was founded to help these caretakers find the resources they need to do just that.

Meow Mission Coalition

Meow Mission Coalition was founded in May 2024 by a group of animal rescuers who saw how much our community needed help with the growing number of feral cats. We came together with a shared passion to make a difference for the community cats and the people who love them.

Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers who bring our mission to life. Our TNR team works tirelessly to trap, neuter, and return community cats, improving their lives and reducing overpopulation. Our transporters ensure cats get to appointments safely. The fundraising team organizes events and campaigns to keep our programs funded, while the networking team builds connections, secures resources, and spreads awareness. Together, we’re making a difference for cats and the community.

Fetch Thrift Shop

Fetch Thrift Shop was founded with the simple mission of helping to fund smaller local animal rescue organizations that were already doing exceptional work in our community.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Fetch Thrift Shop features a variety of high quality new gift items, vintage and gently used merchandise to provide funding to local rescues. Financial donations are tax deductible.

Fetch Thrift Shop is an upscale resale store that financially assists local animal welfare organizations to provide medical care and safety to secondhand animals who deserve to be loved and treated with dignity and respect.

February Star Sanctuary

February Star Sanctuary is a nonprofit, family-run animal sanctuary in Frederick County, Maryland dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, and providing lifelong refuge for horses and cats in need.

Pawssible Beginnings Rescue

Pawssible Beginnings Rescue , Inc was Founded by Melissa Needy in 2016. Melissa knew this was something she wanted to do after volunteering with other rescues, and seeing all of the less fortunate animals that needed to be saved. She has always had a passion for animals even as a small child, feeding strays in her very own back yard. Pawssible Beginnings Rescue is a Small Maryland based rescue, with a non-profit 501c3. Melissa owns and operates Pawssible Beginnings Rescue with the help of her fosters and volunteers. She is currently taking in Dogs on her own fundraising and with the help of her supporters,without the help of her volunteers and supporters rescuing the less fortunate could not be possibale. The more support and donations the rescue receives the more Dogs & Cats she can save. This page is dedicated to all of the souls that could not be saved because of financial obligations,and unfortunate events that happen in the dogs or cats life.
